If go I must,
Give me a smiling farewell.
Why should you grieve !

So many people have come and gone before me,
Could they stay
A moment longer than their allotted time.
Only pray that my journey is trouble-free.

Your tears have moistened my path,
The knot of resolve is getting loosened by them.
For some time at least,
Please stop these eyes from raining.

Travellers meet and part every moment,
Relationships are made and broken
Every now and then.
Face smilingly
For which there is no alternative.
