You had said,
‘Wait for me,
I will return after just having a glimpse
Of these ruins,
And you never came back.
I called you again and again,
But every time
My echo collided against my ears.
O honey!
Did you also anxiously call me
Ramming your head against the black stony walls?
Ah! when I think of your helplessness,
Forgetting my own sorrow,
My heart begins to writhe in your agony.
