It is futile to doubt rebirth.
Every morning we are reborn.
Every night, when we have a sound sleep,
We are dead.
The only difference is,
We are somewhere else after death
And people wail loudly for us.

Have you ever thought after waking,
Where did your consciousness go during sleep!
Your body remained where it was.
Your breathing was usual,
Who slept then ?

Has it ever occurred to you,
Who sees dreams ?
Who experiences sleep ?
Tell me,
What do you mean by,
‘I had a sound sleep last night.’

No, it is futile to doubt rebirth.
Life is not so helpless
That it will end with death.
All, that we have been doing here,
Is not without any result,
Is not without any purpose.
