Why do you keep me at bay?
Do you test my love?
Whether I really need you
And want to come near you
Or my devotion is only skin-deep
Which cannot face the storms of catastrophes?
I am opening door after door,
But I do not find a trace of you anywhere.
What a desolate place is this!
There are laws but no law-maker.
I hear the music but do not see the musician.
O father!
I want to see your face.
I want to keep my head in your lap.
Ah, what kind of work-shop is that
From where you are rolling down
The discs of sun and moon
And sitting where,
You are weaving this garland of stars?
