Don’t acknowledge me;
To your last breath, to your last moment,
Don’t acknowledge me.
The heart may break,
Earth may move away from its axis,
The sky may get turned over.
But don’t allow yourself to love me.
None of us should say any thing,
Let every thing between us remain
Concealed to the end
As now,
But don’t borrow tears for your eyes.
You may, sometimes, repeat my lyrics in solitude,
Kissing them with tear-salted lips,
But don’t make them garlands around your neck.
Don’t acknowledge me.
To your last breath, to your last moment.
Don’t acknowledge me.
