If you ever came to this forest,
You would find your name
Scratched on every tree-trunk.
The parrot sitting on the branches
Would also be calling it with tears in his eyes
And would show you the sand-dunes and the valleys
Where I slept, being tired,
Lost in your memories.
Although my foot-prints
Would be effaced by the winds,
You would definitely find
The blood-soaked thorns
Which were witness to my pain
And those silent rocks
On whom my tears fell.
