The memory of the moments spent with you
Like a colored butterfly in a show-case
Lies transfixed in my consciousness.
Your smiling, transparent eyes,
Like fish rolling on waves
In a wintry sun-shine,
Have become glued in my eyes
In their slanting gesture.
I am not able to forget that milky smile,
Full of sandle-scent,
As if wanting to clasp my hands on a slippery path.
I tremble like a boat,
Sinking in mid-ocean,
Anxious to reach the shore.
